To Automatically set the time and date:
1. Select and choose . The Miscellaneous
functions appear.
2. Select Unit Time, Date, Zone. The Date/Time and Time
Zone menu appears.
3. Select Automatically Adjust Date/Time.
4. The Enter User String keyboard appears.
5. By default the Network Time Server is programmed as
time.nist.gov.
6. Enter the Name or IP Address of the a different Network/
Internet Time Server if desired, and select Enter when
done.
7. Some companies internal network servers require you to
specify your network’s Domain Name Server (DNS), in
order for this feature to access an external Time Server.
a. Click on I/O Settings, and enter your network’s DNS in the
Domain Name field (if it is currently not entered).
8. Reboot the unit for the network settings change to take
effect.
To Adjust the Time Zone and Daylight Saving Time:
1. Select and choose . The Miscellaneous
functions appear.
2. Select Unit Time, Date, Zone. The Date/Time and Time
Zone menu appears.
3. Select Adjust Time Zone. The Time Zone Properties win-
dow appears.
4. From the drop-down menu, select the Time Zone for the
location you are in.
5. If your time zone semi-annually adjusts its clocks for Day-
light Savings Time then check the “Automatically
adjust clock...” setting, otherwise uncheck this setting.
