5. Select OK.
6. When the test set has rebooted, the Default User will automati-
cally be logged into the local GUI, without being prompted to
enter a User Name or Password.
If you do not wish to reset a Default Login user, there is no need
to continue to the next step.
7. If you wish to set another default user, log in as an Admin user
and repeat steps the steps above under the “Establishing a Default
Login”section.
To enable the User Login Required:
This function allows the user to enter a User Name and Password, each
time the test set is rebooted.
To establish a required login:
The User Login Required check box is only available from
the NIC’s local GUI
.
1. Select and choose . The Misc screen appears.
2. Under Local Setting, enable the User Login Required check
box. A check appears in the check box indicating that a required
login has been established.
3. Reboot the test set by selecting , and choose .
4. Select . The Reboot the Unit dialog box appears.
5. Select OK.
6. When the test set has rebooted, a User Login box will appear
prompting the user to enter Username and Password before the
GUI can be displayed.
