1. Remove the zip tie from the oil shut-off valve on the hydraulic
oil tank. (Figure 1)

2. Turn the shut-off valve to the OFF position.
(Figure 2).

3. Remove the grill from the chassis. (Figure 3)
The number of bolts for the grill varies with chassis brand.

4. Cut the zip tie around the electrical wiring that
controls the pump shut-off valve solenoid. (Figure 4)

5. Disconnect the electrical wiring—the two-way Packard
plug—that controls the pump shut-off valve solenoid.

6. Remove the one-inch hydraulic pressure hose.

7. Remove the four suction line flange bolts. (Figure 7)

8. Remove the eight bolts connecting the pump shut-off
valve to the pump. (Figure 8) There are four small
bolts and four large bolts.
