UPPER KICK-OUT ADJUSTMENT
Tailgate Controls
A. Retract the outside cylinders to full up position.
B. Check distance from cylinder packing nut to center of
cylinder mounting pin. This distance should be 4-3/4” +/-
1/4”.
UPPER KICK-OUT ADJUSTMENT
C. If incorrect, loosen jam nuts and turn adjusting rod
clockwise to lengthen or counterclockwise to shorten
rod, see figure above.
LOWER KICK-OUT ADJUSTMENT
(Tailgate Controls)
1. Extend the outside cylinder to full out position.
2. Check the distance from cylinder packing nut to
center of cylinder mounting pin. This distance should be
39-1/4”.
3. If incorrect, loosen jam nuts and turn adjusting rod
clockwise to shorten or counterclockwise to lengthen the
rod.
