Setting Alarm Limits
● Press the »Alarms« menu key.

This page displays all the alarm limits that can be set/adjusted.
< = lower alarm limit
> = upper alarm limit
Example: Setting the upper alarm limit for f
spont.
● Select the »fspont.« screen field with the cursor = turn the
rotary knob.
Confirm = press the rotary knob.
● Set the desired value = turn the rotary knob.
Confirm = press the rotary knob.
The lower alarm limit does not have to be set for the airway
pressure Paw, because it is automatically coupled with the
PEEP setting.
The alarm limits do not have to be set for the O
2 concentration.
These limits are automatically coupled to the O
2 concentration
setting.
Lower alarm limit:
or settings up to 60 Vol.% O
2: setting –4 Vol.% O2
for settings from 60 to 100 Vol.% O2: setting –6 Vol.% O2
Upper alarm limit:
for settings up to 60 Vol.% O
2: setting +4 Vol.% O2
for settings from 60 to 100 Vol.% O2: setting +6 Vol.% O2
