Inoltre, controllare che non vi siano oggetti estranei
o detriti all’interno e all’esterno della macchina, che
potrebbero compromettere il suo funzionamento.
- Usare la macchina soltanto se tutte le protezioni, i
carter e i coperchi sono al loro posto e in condizioni
perfette.
Porre rimedio ad ogni difetto prima di iniziare il lavoro.
- Accertarsi che non vi siano, sulla macchina, oggetti
estranei (utensili, stracci, ecc...).
- Pulire i vetri della cabina di guida e gli specchi retro-
visori.
- Accertarsi del funzionamento di tutte le spie, dei
dispositivi di segnalazione e degli allarmi.
- Regolare il sedile ed il volante di guida.
Mai effettuare regolazioni mentre la macchina è in
funzione.
- La macchina può essere avviata solo dopo aver
completato la prova di preavviamento.
- L’operatore può avviare la macchina soltanto dopo
essersi seduto al posto di guida ed aver allacciato la
cintura di sicurezza.
1.9.a.4 - Durante l’impiego:
- Prima di partire, controllare che tutti gli impianti della
macchina, inclusi i freni, lo sterzo e le spazzole fun-
zionino correttamente.
- Assicurarsi che tutte le luci di avvertimento, i dispo-
sitivi di segnalazione e gli allarmi siano attivati e
funzionanti.
- Azionare i comandi della macchina esclusivamente
dal posto di guida.
- Se si avverte un rumore inconsueto o una vibrazio-
ne inusuale, se un componente o un impianto non
funziona correttamente, se qualche spia luminosa si
accende o se un cicalino emette un suono, arrestare
immediatamente la macchina. Individuare la causa
ed adottare ogni rimedio correttivo necessario.
Contattare il responsabile, se necessario.
- Durante qualsiasi operazione assicurarsi di poter
intervenire tempestivamente sui dispositivi di emer-
genza.
- Mai sovraccaricare la macchina (vedere dati tecnici,
portata della macchina).
- Operare soltanto quando si ha una visione chiara e
priva di ostacoli dell’area da pulire.
- Durante il lavoro e soprattutto in fase di retromarcia,
prestare costantemente attenzione a terze persone,

Remedy any defi ciency before you begin work.
- Make sure that no foreign object is on the machine
(rags, tools, etc...).
- Clean the driver’s cab windows and rearview mirrors.
- Make sure all warning lights, signals and alarms are
working.
- Adjust the seat and steering wheel.
Never perform any adjustments when the machine is
operating.
- The machine may only be started after the pre-start
test is successfully completed.
- Start the sweeper only when seated and belted in the
operator seat.
1.9.a.4 - During use:
- Before starting out, check that all systems of the
sweeper, including the brakes, steering system and
brushes are operating properly.
- Be sure that all warning lights, signals and alarms
are turned on and working.
- Operate the sweeper controls from the sweeper seat
only.
- In the event you hear any strange noise or feel unu-
sual vibration, if component or system is not opera-
ting properly, or if any warning lights illuminate or
buzzers sound, stop the sweeper immediately.
Identify the cause and take any necessary remedial
action.
Contact your supervisor if necessary.
- During any operation, make sure you can operate the
emergency devices quickly.
- Never overload the machine (see technical data,
machine capacity).
- Operate the sweeper only when you have a clear and
unobstructed view of the area being swept.
- While working and especially while backing up, keep
a constant lookout for people, particularly children,
