spazzole o essere investite e schiacciate dalla mac-
china.
- Muoversi in retromarcia con estrema cautela.
La visibilità posteriore è estremamente limitata.
- Alla fi ne del proprio turno di lavoro:
- Scaricare tutte le pressioni idrauliche
- Appoggiare le spazzole a terra
- Abbassare completamente il contenitore sul telaio
- Segnalare immediatamente eventuali perdite di olio
e/o di liquido della batteria al responsabile.
1.9.a.5 - Scarico del contenitore:
- Non entrare mai in contatto con i rifi uti presenti nel
contenitore.
Non si può mai sapere in che cosa consistono e molti
oggetti possono procurare ferite in vari modi. Nel caso
in cui un operatore dovesse eseguire un’operazione di
manutenzione o entrare in contatto con i rifi uti raccolti
o anche solo stare nella loro vicinanza, egli dovrà in-
dossare e usare un equipaggiamento antinfortunistico
appropriato, come dispositivi di protezione degli occhi,
schermi facciali respiratori, guanti e tute integrali.
- Prima di ribaltare o sollevare il contenitore, assicu-
rarsi che la macchina sia su un terreno pianeggiante.
- Allontanare eventuali persone estranee durante le
operazioni di scarico.
- Assicurarsi che nessuno si avvicini ai bracci del
sollevatore e al portello del contenitore durante le
operazioni di scarico.
- Accertarsi che non vi siano ostacoli in altezza e linee
elettriche che potrebbero essere urtate dal contenitore.
- Accertarsi che gli specchi retrovisori siano posizionati
correttamente al fi ne di garantire una visione chiara
dei lati e della parte posteriore del contenitore.
- Durante le operazioni di scarico, rimanere nella ca-
bina con i fi nestrini chiusi.
- Mai effettuare la marcia di trasferimento con il con-
tenitore in posizione sollevata/ribaltata se non per
brevi spostamenti di manovra.
- Se il contenitore deve rimanere in posizione solle-
vata al termine dello scarico (per riparazioni, pulizia,
ecc...), inserire l’apposita sicurezza.

- Use extreme caution when backing up.
Rearward visibility in the sweeper is extremely limi-
ted.
- At the end of your workday
- Relieve all hydraulic pressure
- Place brooms on the ground
- Fully lower hopper bin onto chassis
- Immediately notify your supervisor of any oil and/or
battery fl uid leaks.
1.9.a.5 - Dumping the hopper:
- Do not come into contact with debris in the hopper.
You cannot know everything present, and many dif-
ferent things could injure you in many ways.
If you must service the hopper or otherwise contact or
be in proximity to the debris, wear appropriate perso-
nal protective equipment such as eye protection, face
shield respiratory protection, gloves and cover-alls.
- The vehicle must be on level ground before the con-
tainer may be lifted and/or tilted.
- Do not allow any bystanders to be present during
dumping operations.
- Whenever dumping waste, make sure that nobody
comes close to the lift arms and to the hopper hatch.
- Be sure that there are no overhead obstructions and
power lines, which could be hit by the hopper.
- Be sure your rearview mirrors are properly adjusted
to provide a clear view of the sides and rear of the
hopper.
- Remain in the cab with the windows rolled up during
dumping operations.
- Never move the machine with the hopper either raised
or tilted, except for short manoeuvre operations.
- If the hopper must remain in a raised position at the
end of the dumping phase (for repairs, cleaning, etc.),
secure the appropriate safety deice in position.
