6.15 REPLACEMENT OF THE DRIVING BELTS
Dismounting:
- Adjust the mower to the lowest mowing height
- Lift and support the mower (wheels off the ground)
- Release the by-pass valve on the pump 1 – 2 turns (Fig. 88)
- Secure the auxiliary brake in the manual override position see 6.5 Replacement of the auxiliary drive brake
from S/N151
- Release tensioning screw of the hydraulic motor (Fig. 89)
- Release hydraulic motor mounting bolts (Fig. 89)
- Release two stabilizer stiffeners (for the belts leading between the stabilizer and the sliding bar)
- Dismount the belts XPB 1450 (Fig. 89)

- Pull the corner bracket off the shaft, after removing bolts 1,2 and 3 (Fig. 73)
- Remove belts from the pulleys (Fig. 71)

Mounting:
- Mount the belt on the hydraulic motor pulley (Fig. 89) and bracket pulley (Fig. 90)
- Push the corner bracket onto the shaft by hands
- Tighten the bolts3, follow then 2 a screw 1 (Fig. 92)
- Secure the bolt 2 with LOCTITE 243
- Check the clearance between transmission and the arm, approximately 4mm (Fig. 91)
- Tighten the By-pass valve of the pump
- Tension driving belts by shifting the hydraulic motor with the tensioning screw then secure the screw by
securing nut see 6.6 Replacement of the hydraulic motor
- Return the auxiliary brake back to the operational position see 6.5 Replacement of the auxiliary drive brake
