6.18 ADJUSTMENT AND REPLACEMENT OF THE WHEEL DRIVING CHAIN
Every 200 operating hours check the chain tension and lubrication to ensure smooth running
Dismounting:
- Remove the wheel suspension cover – 8 capscrews M6
- Remove the chain tensioner
- Remove the sprocket from the transmission shaft (Fig. 97) – MIND the key!!!
Mounting:
- Install the chain onto the wheel sprocket (Roller chain 084-1 * MOFA 1/2“ x 3/16“)
- Install the key in the transmission shaft groove
- Install the sprocket and tighten it with a screw (longer than 30 mm), after tightening replace the screw with
the original screw, securing it with LOCTITE 243
ATTENTION !!! Do not knock the wheel – transmission clearance!!!
- Install the tensioning segment
- Tension the chain with the adjustment screw 1 (± 5 mm). ATTENTION – the chain must move free!!!

- Loctite and tighten screws 2. (Fig. 97)( LOCTITE 243)
- Lubricate the chain, using chain spray Interflon FIN LUBE TF
After the aplication let´s it penetrate for 25 minutes then blow the rest out with pressurized air
- Install the lid (seal with silicone)
- Torque setting 9 Nm
