7.4 SKID STEERING SYSTEM
- The slope mower Spider ILD02 is equipped with a skid steering function. This function allows machine
rotation around its vertical axis by driving two sets of wheels in opposite directions. This function can be
activated by the skid steer button on the remote controller, provided the wheels are positioned in the
straight driving driving direction. This position is detected by the skid steer proximity switch, located
above the rear left angular gearbox (on the left arm from hydraulic tank). The hydraulic flow to one of the
hydraulic motors is reversed in EDH valve and the mower can be rotated using joystick
(forward/backward). By moving the joystick forward the mower rotates clockwise, by moving it
backwards the mower rotates counter clockwise.
