9.3 CT’s (Current Transformers)
Current transformers are required for display of AC current. One CT is required for each phase to
be displayed. The wiring for CT’s is as follows:
In single phase applications:

• Phase A to terminals Phase A*
• Phase B to terminals Phase B*
In three phase applications:
• Phase A to terminals Phase A*
• Phase B to terminals Phase B*
• Phase C to terminals Phase C*
In center tap delta applications:

• Phase B to terminals Phase B*
• Phase C to terminals Phase C*
* White wire assumed positive. Black wire assumed
negative.
