4.3.2 Replacing the blade
WARNING!
Risk of injuries - cutting
Always wear protective gloves when you handle the blades.
Wear protective goggles when you sharpen the blade.
Unscrew the 17-mm hexagon head screw, and
remove it with serrated lock washer and washer.
Pull off the blade with the blade retainer.
CAUTION!
Balance a reground blade.
Use only genuine spare blades for
replacement.
Assemble in the reverse sequence.
Tightening torque: 65 Nm
A blunt blade has a negative effect on the mowing performance and the appearance of the cut lawn. A poorly balanced
blade causes excessive vibrations during operation. A poorly balanced blade can damage the unit.
Sharpening:
Always sharpen both edges of the blade with a
grinding disc of medium grade.
Always sharpen at the bordered side so that only a
minimum of material is removed.
A blade must be replaced when the wear of the blade
reaches 10 mm.
