WDS Mode
The Wireless Distribution System is a way of interconnecting wireless routers and
allow an extended wireless network coverage using multiple wireless routers without
the use of a wired backbone. Each WDS AP requires the same channel and
encryption type to work. Setting up a WDS requires an in-depth knowledge in
computer networking. If you are not familiar with this setting consult a PC network
engineer.
MAC address 1~4:
Enter the MAC address of the neighboring APs that participates in the WDS.
A maximum of 4 devices are allowed.
Set Security:
WDS Security depends on your AP security settings. Note: It does not
support mixed mode such as WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK Mixed mode.
