Pressurized Flow Center and Pump Mounting
The ow center can be mounted with the ow paths either vertical or horizontal (see Figure 2). However, the
ow center cannot be mounted on its back, upside down, or at an angle, as premature pump failure will
occur when the pump shaft is not in the horizontal position.

Equally important to pump longevity is terminal box orientation. See Figure 3 for proper control box
orientation. The pump terminal box must be located in a position to avoid condensation running into the
control box, and also to take advantage of the “weep holes” designed to drain any condensation that
may have formed. “Weep holes” are located on three sides of the pump.
