Initial Installation
QUALIFIED INSTALLERS ONLY
The C60I needs a hard-wired power connection in order for the unit to operate. There is also a battery
pack that takes four AA batteries in case there is a power loss.
All electrical connections must be made by a certied electrician.
There is an electrical box located in the cabinet on the left side of the replace. The Power wire connection
is to be made inside the elctrical box. There
is a strain relief on the outside of the cabinet
to secure the wiring in place. The recepticle
should be wired a shown in gure 52. If
wiring the convection fan kit or light kit
options please see wiring diagrams.

C60I IPI Dual Covection Fan Kit (50-3354)
The C60I has an optional dual convection fan kit that can be installed at before or after the replace
installation. The fans are operated by the remote controller. The fans can be turned on or o at anytime
with the remote. There are also 6 dierent fan speed settings.
The replace must be electrically connected and grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the
absence of local codes, with the current CSA C22.1 Canadian Electrical Code Part 1, Safety Standards For
Electrical Installations, or The National Electrical Code ANSI / NFPA 70 in the US..
CAUTION: When servicing controls, label all wires prior to disconnection. Wiring errors can cause
improper and dangerous operation. Verify proper operation after servicing. If any of the original wire
supplied with the appliance must be replaced, it must be replaced with 18 AWG wire with a temperature
rating of 105°C.
