Installation location: The bench sensor is
xed to the ceiling of the rear reclining bench
as described for the installation of the heater
sensor.
If the sensor is connected correctly, the
control unit shall automatically recognise it
once the mains voltage has been switched
on again..
The bench sensor is connected via a 2-core
wire silicone cable from the sensor pcb to
the terminals on the right-hand side of the
main board of the sauna controller. The ter-
minals are marked „Temp.-Sensor Nr. 2“.
Bench sensor
If there is a problem with the bench sensor, a
fault message will appear:
E 103 = Interruption of bench sensor circuit
or
E 104 = Short-circuit of the bench sensor
In this case, the sensor must be checked by
an expert and replaced if necessary. At room
temperature, the sensor has approx. 2 kΩ.
After disassembly the bench sensor can be
deactivated so that you can use your sauna
despite the problem. See the ‚Bench sensor‘
chapter for more details.
Once the problem has been solved, the
control unit recognises the sensor once the
mains voltage has been switched on again.
Notice: If an error E103 is shown although
the bench sensor is not installed, then it has
been activated in error. In such case disa-
ble the bench sensor at the program level.
