6.1 PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Preventive maintenance is important to keep the printer in the best condition and to prevent
potential troubles from occurring. If necessary, use denatured alcohol to clean the exterior cases.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and paper debris accumulated in the printer.
WARNING
Disconnect the printer from the AC socket before servicing.
CAUTION
Do not use thinner, trichloroethylene, or ketone-based solvents on
the plastic components of the printer.
Never use the oil and grease other than those specified in this
manual, and using different type of lubrication can damage the
printer and the components.
