1.9 Firmware Reload
This writes this printer’s firmware to the Flash ROM on the MAIN board. If the main board
has had to be replaced due to repairs, or when upgrading the firmware version, reload the
firmware in accordance with the explanation on “5.2.2 Reloading Firmware.”
1.10 Self-diagnostic Function Mode
The self-diagnostic function mode starts if the power switch is turned ON while pressing
the following panel buttons.
n [Setting Value + Button] + [Setting Value – Button] + [Enter button]
This mode is used primarily in adjustment operations, etc. when making repairs
accompanying parts replacement. For details, see “5.2.3.2 Self-Diagnostic Mode Menus”.
