10 Location of plug in cards

The full extension version of the FACP 8000C consists of a basic board, the power supply module

and a periperhy module with an additional micromodule slot. Two freely selectable micromodules

can be used in the full extension version. The slot

on the basic module (see Figure (A)) is

Additional extensions

The central unit extension can be extended as required by using additional input / output

subassemblies, the esserbus

transponders.

The esserbus

transponders can be inserted into the housing of the FACP 8000C on special

installation slots independently of the central unit’s extension. Optional plastic housings of the

protection type IP 50 are available for decentralized installation of the esserbus

transponder on

the analog ring circuit.
