10.3 Extension module with extension for one micromodule
An extension module for connecting an additional micromodule can be used in a fire alarm central
unit.
When an extension module is used, it is no longer possible to connect a fire service control panel
to this FACP 8000C. If several fire alarm central units are connected with each other in the
essernet
®
, the fire service control panel and also the transmission unit can be connected to one of
the other fire alarm central units.

If an essernet

micromodule is inserted into the FACP 8000C, this module can always
only be operated on the micromodule of the slot of the basic module. Adaptation of the
connection configuration on the basic module with the jumpers X11-14 is necessary for

micromodule.
