Understanding Fiber Polarity
Type C: The MPO connectors are inserted as in type A, but each
adjacent pair of fibers at one end of the cable are reversed at the other
end (fiber 1 is mated to fiber 2, fiber 2 arrives at fiber 1, and so on).
You can activate or deactivate the fiber polarity analysis feature according
to your needs. See Inspecting Multiple Fiber Ends (MF-Ready Probes Only)
on page 64 for details.
You can also define how the polarity results should affect the global status
based on the expected results. See Inspecting Multiple Fiber Ends
(MF-Ready Probes Only) on page 64 for details.
After the inspection is performed, the results are available as an image or
in a detailed table. See Analyzing Captures on page 83 for details.
