Replacing the Battery of the Multifiber Source
To replace the battery of the MFS:
1. Turn off the MFS.
2. Disconnect any power cable and fibers that are connected to the
source.
3. Position the MFS so that its front panel rests on a flat surface such as a
table.
4. Use a screwdriver to remove the four screws that are located on the
back panel.
5. While firmly holding the front and back covers together, turn the MFS
over, and position it so that the unit rests on a flat surface such as a
table.
CAUTION
Ensure that the front cover stays in place when you turn the MFS
over so that the battery does not fall.
