1. Forward
1 1. W arning—Read the Operator ’ s Manual. Do Not operate
this machine unless you are trained. W ear hearing
protection.
2. Neutral
12. W arning—Stay away from moving parts; keep all guards
in place. Stop engine and remove key before adjusting,
servicing, or cleaning.
3. Reverse
13. W arning—Disengage PT O, move drive levers to neutral
position, engage parking brake, and stop engine before
leaving the operator ’ s position
4. Throttle-fast
14. Thrown object hazard—Pick up objects that could be
thrown by mower . Keep bystanders away . Keep deector
in place.
5. Continuous variable setting 15. Crushing/dismemberment hazard of bystanders—Do Not
carry passengers, look forward and down when operating
the machine, look behind and down when reversing.
6. Throttle-slow 16. T ipping hazard—Mow across slopes not up and down. Do
Not mow wet slopes–use extreme caution when operating
on slopes.
7. Engine–of f
17. T ipping hazard—Do Not use dual ramps when loading
onto a trailer; use one ramp wide enough for the machine;
back up the ramp when loading the machine and drive
forward of f the ramp when unloading.
8. Engine–on
18. T ipping hazard—Do Not use the machine near drop-of fs
or on slopes; stay at least two widths of the machine away
from drop-of fs.
