EXTENDED MODE
CARD G / FIT 51 V 6.15 E / April 2010
Hint:
There is an output on the FIT-controller which supplies 24V DC as soon as
CDOWN timer and RAMP timer (if activated) are expired. If both timers are set
to 0h 0m, the output will supply 24V DC immediately after the drying process
has been started.
If a retrofit is desired, contact or its local representative for
further instructions.
SLEEP Temperature
FACTORY SETTING: 50°C [122°F]
The SLEEP MODE protects the resin in the CARD G FIT against degradation. As soon as the SLEEP TIMER
has expired (see next parameter) or the keys have been pressed, the drying temperature is
lowered to the SLEEP T
EMPERATURE.
This value must never be higher than the value SET
TEMPERATURE. If so, it is automatically corrected by
the FIT-controller.
SLEEP Timer
FACTORY SETTING: 0h 0m
The SLEEP TIMER is released from a loading unit or from an external signal connected to the
CARD G FIT unit. The timer will be reset to its initial value if the signal is revoked.
The air temperature will be lowered to the SLEEP
TEMPERATURE (see previous parameter) after the
SLEEP
TIMER has expired. The SET TEMPERATURE is loaded as soon as the SLEEP SIGNAL is released again.
The time is to be set to 0h 0m if the SLEEP
MODE is not desired.
Pressing at the same time allows the operator to activate or
deactivate the SLEEP
MODE immediately provided that the drying process is
switched on.
If a loading device is not used to fill the drying hopper, the SLEEP TIMER can be
controlled by an external signal which needs to be connected to the plug (3.2)
on the CARD G FIT.
RAMP Temperature
FACTORY SETTING: -30°C [-54°F]
If the RAMP TIMER (see next parameter) is activated, the resin will first be heated up to this temperature
after the drying process has been started.
This value is set as a difference to the SET T
EMPERATURE. It must never be higher than that one. If so, it is
automatically corrected by the FIT-controller.
