The following product-specific terms and abbreviations are
used in this manual:
Term/abbreviation
Meaning
Basic components Component (pneumatic interface, multiple connector plate, pneumatic
sub-base or pneumatic supply plate) on which further components
(exhaust plates, flat plate silencers, pressure regulators, valves or
blanking plates) are mounted.
Components Common term for pneumatic interface, multiple connector plate,
exhaust plate, flat plate silencer, pneumatic sub-base or pneumatic
supply plate, electric supply plate, pressure sensor plate, proportional
pressure regulator, end plate, pressure regulator plate, valve and
blanking plate.
Cover plate Plate without valve function for sealing unused valve positions on
sub-bases.
CPX modules Common term for the various modules which can be incorporated into
aCPXterminal
CPX terminal Modular electrical terminal
Electrical interface Common term for pneumatic interface, CPI interface, multi-pin plug
connection plate and AS interface.
Electrical supply plate Plate for additional supply of the valves with load voltage.
Electronics m odule Module in the sub-base with an LED and solenoid coil management
End plate Extreme right-hand plate:
with/without pneumatic supply ports
holes for H-rail and wall mounting
Extreme left-hand plate:
–oftheCPXterminal
of the valve terminal with multi-pin plug connection
with holes for H-rail and wall mounting
Exhaust plate Plate for ducted exhaust with connection (3/5)
I/O Input/output modules
MO Manual override
MPA1 or MPA2 Size of the valves: MPA1 = 10 mm, MPA2 = 20 mm.
