3.3.5 Controller with rigid threaded connection (MPA1)
In the size M PA1, there are controllers with rigid threaded
connection M5. A non-return valve (type HB-M5-QS-4, par t
no. 153445) can be screwed into this threaded connection.
As a result, connection of an external pressure gauge or
measuring device is possible through a hose.

3.3.6 Vacu um/low pressure operation
Note
If valves are used for switching a vacuum, then filters must
be used in the suction line to avoid operative malfunctions
cause d by fore i gn matt e r sucked into the li ne .
The 2x2/2-way valves with ident. codes D, I and the
2x3/2-way valves with ident. codes N, K, H cannot be used in
va cuum or low pressure appl i cat i o n s. If you supply the
MP A-S with vacuum or low pressure via port (1):
• Operate these valves in a separate pressure zone.
• The operating pressure for this pressure zone must be
set in accordance with the diagram in Fig. A/1.
