Th e following requirements must be fulfilled in order to
operate your MPA-S valve terminal at the supply port (1) with
va cuum or low pressure betw e e n -0 .9 ... 3 bar:
The pilot control is operated with regulated external pilot
air supply.
The valve terminal is fitted with the following valve
sub-bases and sometimes has additional pressure zones.
Valve sub-bases
Pressure zone with vacuum or
low pressure supply via
connection (1)

The pressure zone must be fitted only with the following valve
sub-bases:
5/2-way valve, single-solenoid (Ident. code M)
5/2-way valve, double-solenoid (Ident. code J)
5/3-wayvalves(Ident.codesB,EandG)
2 x 3/2 -way valves (ident. c ode HS, KS, NS)
3/2-way valve (ident. code W and X) see also following note.
2x2/2-way valve (ident. code DS)
Pressure zone with excess
pressure supply

via port (1)
The pressure zone can be fitted additionally with the following
valve sub-bases:
2x3/2-way valves (ident. code H, K and N)
2 x 2/2-way valves (ident. code D, I), see also following note

The valve plates with Ident. code D, H, K, N and I are not suitable for vacuum or low-pressure
operation if they are supplied via port (1).
