Twelve LEDs on the front panel are used to display the statuses of the device. Each
LED can be lit red, amber or green, as well as blink or be off. The color of the LED allows
the user to determine the following statuses:
• Red – urgent alarm;
• Amber – non-urgent alarm;
• Green – normal operation of the device.
Displaying an urgent alarm has the highest priority that displaying a non-urgent
alarm. If an alarm condition appears in Mini-Rack devices, the alarm relay generates a
signal and a corresponding LED is lit. In Sub-Rack devices LEDs are located on the shelf.
The description of the device statuses and LEDs corresponding to these statuses are
presented in Table 3.
