1.9.1 Transparent.
Only bit “а” of the dedicated signaling TS is used. The initial status of bits a b c d is
0101. The incoming call is detected by the FXO side and is transmitted to the FXS side by
changing the “a” bit status in TS No. 16. The FXS side traces the change in the “a” bit
status and generates a ring signal.
1.9.2 MMX (subscriber).
In this case, bits “а” and “b” of TS No. 16 are used. Bits C and D are always equal to
0 and 1, respectively. Table 4 presents the description of subscriber signaling.
