interface: basic board – daughter board; while the second group is connected to the port
connectors of the device, which are located on its front panel. The RINGER board can be
installed on the basic board. Apart from pin connectors, daughter boards are fixed with
screws to the racks of the basic board.
1.17.3 Stand Alone
From the mechanic point of view, the Stand Alone device represents a case made of
shockproof polystyrene to withstand harsh environmental conditions, the case containing
the basic elements of the device. The power supply unit represents an external power
supply in the form of a plug. FG-Plex-4FXO, FG-Plex-4FXS, FG-Plex-4E&M, FG-Plex-E1
daughter boards can be installed on the basic board of the device similarly to devices of
other mechanic designs.
