1.15.2 V.35 loops.
The device supports only local loops on the V.35 interface. The <EDL ON>
command allows the data-transmit buffer to be connected to the input of the data-receive
buffer as well as the output of the transmitter to be connected with the input of the receiver
(see Fig. 12). Therefore, two loops are set simultaneously: both to the external equipment
and the multiplexer. The output call-acknowledgement signals, when the loop is set, are
formed by the device based on input signals (DTR, RTS) and transmitted to the V.35
interface. Synchronization of the receive and transmit signals is performed by the internal
clock, whose polarity is configured by <SETCLKRX> and <SETCLKTX> commands.
During the loop setting, the interface signal TEST has the value “ON”. Loops are
deactivated by the <EDL OFF> command.
