7.2.2 Loading the trailer
The transfer trailer is a centre-axle trailer and is used to transfer the load to a different transport vehicle.
The transfer trailer is filled from above via external
work machines (e.g. combine harvester).
Fig. 53: Loading process
When transporting bulk materials with a high volume weight, there is a risk of
overloading and damaging the trailer.
Observe the permitted total weight of the trailer. Exceeding the permitted total weight
constitutes a violation of road traffic regulations. In addition, there is a risk of damage
to the trailer.
Standing on the loading area is prohibited.
7.2.3 Emptying the trailer
1. Drive onto a level surface with the discharge
tube retracted.
2. Check the swivel range for objects, persons
etc.
3. Fold the inclined screw conveyor into
operating position via the hydraulic control
valve.
4. Open the hydraulic slide gate to set the
dosing feeder to the desired flow rate.
5. Close the dosing feeder.
6. Check the swivel range again.
7. Fold the inclined screw conveyor back in via
the hydraulic control valve.
When the transfer procedure has been
completed:
1. Allow the longitudinal and inclined screw
conveyors to run for at least 3 more minutes
so that they are fully emptied.
2. Retract the discharge tube.
3. Open the quick-release fasteners and fold
out the service flap (5).
4. Clean the screw conveyors after use.
Fig. 54: Unloading process
Function:
Once the seal has been opened, the load
slides into the longitudinal screw conveyor (1).
It transports the load to the inclined screw
conveyor (2).
The inclined screw conveyor transports the
load via the discharge tube (3) into the
adjacent transport vehicle.
When the overhead loading screw is not in
use, the hydraulic cylinder (4) retracts the
discharge tube.
The discharge tube is extended and retracted
via a dual-action hydraulic cylinder. This
cylinder is operated by an additional hydraulic
cylinder with the following connections:
- Extend discharge cylinder
- Retract discharge cylinder
