Phone Settings
The Phone Settings page contains a mix of parameters that should only be changed if familiar
with the resulting change.
Frame Duration: Sets the interval to send/receive RTP packets in milliseconds. Do not
change this value if you do not understand the settings.
DTMF Relay: Configure the method for DTMF signaling (in-band, out-of-band or negotiate).
Do not change this value if you do not understand the settings.
DTMF Payload: Configure the payload type for DTMF signals according to RFC 2833. Do not
change this value if you do not understand the settings.
DTMF Duration: Configure the duration of DTMF signals sent from the phone in milliseconds.
Do not change this value if you do not understand the settings.
Use Speed Number: Enable or disable using 2-digit dialing to dial contacts from the Phone
Book.
Key Tone: enables or disables the tone generated when a button on the phone is pressed.
Active Call Timer: This setting is not used by the FortiVoice system.
Pause Dial Tone: Configure the duration of the pause character in your phone book or speed
dial.
