This chapter describes the part data editing function for a recorded
song. "Part" means audio data between the LOCATE A and LOCATE
B points.
<LOCATE A and LOCATE B points>
You have to set the LOCATE A and LOCATE B points before executing the part
editing function. See page 49 for details about how to set these points. Note
that you can set the LOCATE A and LOCATE B points after entering the part
editing mode (see the next page for details).
<Note>:
With the default setting, you cannot undo or redo erasing part
data (while you can undo or redo all other part data editing). Because
erasing part data completely deletes part data from a card, the free card
space increases after erasing part data. If you want to make it possible to
undo or redo erasing part data, set the "Auto Delete" menu item of the
"System" menu in the MENU mode to "Off" (see page 135). In this case,
however, note that the free card space does not increase after erasing part
data.
