WARNING Risk of injury from jacktip‐

If youparkavehicle withair suspension, the
air suspension mayremain activatedfor up to
one hour,evenwhen theignition is switched
off. If youthen raise thevehicle withthe jack,
theair suspension will attempt to adjustthe
vehicle level.
The jackmay tip.

Press theService button on theair sus‐
pension remote control beforeraising
thevehicle.
This prevents automatic readjustment
of thevehicle leveland prevents it from
being raised or loweredmanually.

positioning of thejack
If youdonot positionthe jackcorrectlyatthe
appropriatejackingpointofthe vehicle, the
jackcould tip with thevehicle raised.

Onlyposition thejackatthe appropriate
jacking point of thevehicle. The base of
thejackmustbepositioned vertically
under thejacking point of thevehicle.

The vehicle is prepared forchanging awheel

Only position thejackonthe jacksupportpoints
intended forthis purpose. Youcouldotherwise
damagethe vehicle.
Important notesonusing thejack:

Onlyuse thevehicle-specificjackthat has
been tested and approvedbyFreightliner
Sprinter to raise thevehicle. If thejackis
used incorrectly,itcould tip over while the
vehicle is raised.

The jackisdesigned onlytoraise thevehicle
forashorttime whileawheelisbeing
changed and is notsuitable forcarrying out
maintenance work underthe vehicle.

Avoid changing awheel on uphill and downhill
slopes.
R
The jackmustbeplacedonafirm, flat and
non-slip surface. If necessary, use alarge,
flat, load bearing and non-slip underlay.

The base of thejackispositioned vertically
under thejacksupportpoint.
Safetyinstructionswhile thevehicle is raised:

Do notput your hands or feet underthe vehi‐
cle.

Do notlie underneaththe vehicle.
R
Do notstart thevehicle and do notrelease
