NEMA 3R protection means that the Fronius IG Plus can be exposed to
moisture. However, we recommend that direct moisture and direct water
spray such as a sprinkler be avoided, if possible.
In order to protect the display, the Fronius IG Plus should not be exposed
to direct sunlight. Ideally, the Fronius IG Plus should be installed in a
protected location, e.g. near the solar modules or under a roof overhang.
