Staple Jams in the Staple Cartridge (For Finisher-A1)
The following describes how to clear staple jams in the Finisher-A1 (optional).
1
Make sure that the machine has
stopped, and open the front cover
of the finisher.

Take the staple cartridge out of the
machine.
Note • The staple cartridge is firmly
inserted. A slight force is
required to pull the cartridge
out of the finisher.

After removing the staple cartridge,
check inside of the finisher for any
remaining staples.

Pull up the metal part of the staple
cartridge as shown in the figure.
5
Remove the jammed staples (1),
and return the metal part pulled up
in step 4 to the original position (2).
CAUTION
Be careful in removing jammed
staples.
