1 Drive indicators
The indicator lights up when the CD -ROM or DVD drive of the
device is accessed. You must never under any circumstances
remove the CD/DVD w h ile the indicator is lit.
2 Power-on indicator
Caution: In energy-saving mo
de the device must not be switched
off with the main power switch
(if present) or disconnected from
the ma ins, as this may result
in data loss.
• The indicator is illumina
ted:
The device is switched on.
•Theindicatorisflashing
:
The device is in energy-saving mode. After being switched on
with the ON/OFF switch, the device powers up or returns to th e
state it was in before it entered energy-saving mode.
• The indicator is not il
luminated:
the device is switched off (power switch at 0 or disconnected
from the mains) or is ready. If the device is ready it can be
switched on with the ON/OFF switch.
3 Hard disk ind icator The indicator lights up when the hard disk drive in the de vice
is being accessed.
In energy-saving mode the device must not be disconnected from the
mains supply, as data loss may occur.
