Installing and removing a WLAN module (optional)
The WLAN module is also available as a board and is then installed like a
board (see "
Installing and removing a b oard", Page 61).
You can install an additional WLAN module in your device.
Operation of the module is not permitted in Taiwan.
Removing the front panel
Requirement: open the casing (see "Opening the casing", Page 36).
To access the WLAN modu
le bay, you rst need to remove the front panel.

Lift the locking lugs on the front panel (1).
Fold the front panel in the direction of the arrow (2) and remove it from the casing.
Removing the front fan
Requirement: open the casing (see "Opening the casing", Page 36).
Requirement: remove the front panel (see "
Removing the front panel", Page 45).
To access the WLAN module bay, you need to remove the front fan after removing the front panel.
The front fan is secured using several locking hooks that will need to be unlocked one after the other.
Disconnect the fan cable from the mainboard.
