Installing an accessible drive
► If you are installing the drive in the upper bay a nd a cover (optional) is
already in place, please remove it.
or
► If you are installing the drive in the lower bay, also remove the metal pa nel on the drive bay.
► Fit the drive cover for the 5

Do not throw away the cover. For cooling and protection a gainst fire you m us t refitthe
cover if you remove the drive again later (see "
Removing an accessible drive", Page 40).

cessible drive together with the attached drive metal plate into
the casing u
ntil it eng ages (1).
► Connect the cables to the drive. Make sure the polarity is c orrect.
► Close the c
asing (see "
Closing the casing" , Page 37).
It may be n
ecessary to modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup.
