Installing an accessible drive
► Open the casing (see "Opening the casin g", Page 35).
► If you are installing the drive in the upper bay and a cover (optional) is
already in place , ple ase remove it.
or
► If you a re insta lling the drive in the lower ba y a nd a cover (optional) is
already in place, please remove it.
► Break out the pre-stamped metal cover on the drive bay.
► Fit the d rive cover for the 5

inch drive", Page 37).
Do not throw awa y the cover. For cooling and protection against fire you must refitthe
cover if you remove the drive again later (see "
Removing an accessible drive", Page 39).

► Slide the accessible drive into the casing until it snaps in place (1).
► C onnect the cables to the drive. Make sure the polarity is correct.
► C lose the casing (see "
Closing the casing", Page 36).
It may be necessary to modify the entry f o r the drive in the BIOS Setup.
