Device Errors
The following are lists of device errors which require
troubleshooting by a service engineer.
■Internal and Optical Errors
The letter "E" and an alarm number appear alternately.
■Overrun Error
The letter "F" and an alarm number appear alternately.
■Chip Error
The letter "C" and an alarm number appear alternately.
Display Description Action
E0 A flatbed motor error
occurred.

1 Confirm that the transport lock
switch is not locked.
For details, refer to "Installing the
Scanner" in Getting Started.
2 Turn the scanner off then back on.
If the problem persists, write
down the displayed error code
and contact your FUJITSU
scanner dealer or an authorized
FUJITSU scanner service
provider.
E1 An optical error
(flatbed) occurred.

E2 An optical error (ADF
front) occurred.
1 Clean the glass section.
