Accessible drives Installing the hard disks extension box
Ê Disconnect the connector from the SCSI terminator carefully.
Ê Push the hard disks extension box fully into the bay until the EasyClick rails
latch in place.

Ê Connect the power cable (Standard power supply: plug P4/ hot-plug power
supply: cableT26139-Y3856-V4 connector Con2) to the hard disks
extension box (1).
Ê Connect the SCSI cable whose connector was connected to the SCSI termi-
nator to the hard disks extension box (2).
Ê Connect the I

C cable (T26139-Y3718-V601) connector Con2 to the hard
disks extension box (3).
Ê Secure the I
2
C cable with a green clamp (a).
Ê Attach the front cover or rack front cover, close the server, connect it to the
power outlet, and switch it on as described in the chapter “Completion” on
page 97ff.
