Replacing the Pad Assy (S1300i)
Replace the pad assy in the following procedure:
1. Unplug the power connection cable (power cable or USB bus power cable)
from the power supply source (AC outlet or computer).
2. Remove any documents from the ADF paper chute (cover).
3. Pull the ADF release tab towards you to open the ADF top section.

4. Remove the pad assy.
Hold the both ends of the pad assy and remove it in the direction of the arrow.
5. Attach the new pad assy while pressing the pad plate.
