The single strain gauge will be completed with an external resistor RC. The internal half bridge will complete the bridge.
4.2.6 Single strain gauge with external completion resistor (5-Lead Connection)
Three leads and two sense leads are connected with the amplifier.

4.2.7. Strain Gauge Quarter Bridge (3-Lead Connection)
A quarter bridge has only one active resistor at the measuring point. The completion to the full bridge takes place in the
amplifier and in the “e.bloxx Terminal B14”. The first half bridge has to be completed in the e.bloxx Terminal B14 screw
terminator, the second half bridge is in the module available. The 3-wire method is typical for the quarter bridge and is
used to compensate cable resistances.
