To measure with a single strain gauge the accessory “e.bloxx Terminal B14” will be required. This terminal provides the
completion resistor, so the mode half bridge can be used. The terminal is available for 120

gauges. Due to the 3 lead connection the cable resistance will be eliminated.
To calibrate the measuring chain use the formula

F = bridge factor (number of active strain gauges)
Notice: The Wheatstone Bridge is in principle not linear at high strain. That means that the conversion of the
resistance changing in the strain gauge into a mV/V-signal is not linear. This error will not be compensated
with a 2-point calibration. If necessary it is possible to use the linearization in the module e.bloxx A6-2CF.

The galvanic isolation between primary and secondary coil for definite potential relation requires a resistor at the
amplifier input Usig- to ground (GND). The e.bloxx A6-2CF provides this resistor.
