6. SYNCHRONIZATION OF THE E.BLOXX A6-2CF
The module e.bloxx A6-2CF uses a 4.8 kHz carrier frequency signal for the excitation of the sensor. If the application
requires a multi-channel system, an unpropitious cable topology, a dissatisfied screening, a cross talk at the sensor or
other influences can generate a match of the different carrier frequencies. The effect shows an overlaid signal with the
difference of the carrier frequencies (beat frequency).
If this effect appears a synchronization of the modules is necessary. Please synchronize the modules as shown in picture
6.1. below. Up to 16 modules can be connected to one synchronization master.

For carrier frequency synchronization connect the terminal “SYO” of the master module with the terminal “SYI” of the
slave(s). The selection of master or slave will be done automatically due to the connection. No configuration is
necessary.
