Configuring Linksys® Router Broadband Router and Network Configuration
4 Change the laptop static IP to 10.5.48.200 and the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0.
5 Reconnect to the router at 10.5.48.1.
6 Select DHCP.
7 Under Dynamic IP change the Client Lease Time to 43200.
8 Change Range Start to 10.5.48.120 and the Range End to 10.5.48.140.
9 Click Save to save the changes.
10 Open up an Internet browser window, www.gilbarco.com should be accessible. If not, contact
the site’s IT department or Internet service provider for additional
settings.
Note: If using a customer supplied r
outer with wireless capability, the wireless capability must
be disabled.
Configuring Linksys
®
Router
To configure the Linksys Router (Q13708-05B), proceed as follows:
1 Connect a laptop to one of the eight ethernet ports on the router using a non-crossover CAT-5
cable.
2 Set the laptop NIC TCP/IP settings to obtain an IP address automatically.
3 Click Start > Run.
4 Type CMD and click OK. The Command Prompt window appears.
5 Type ipconfig and click Enter. The current IP configuration of the laptop appears.

Note: After this router is preconfigured for the Passport system, the IP address must be set to
10.5.48.X.
