3.2.2 Fuel System
ThefuelsystemincludesaFISHER67CFRregulatorwhichcontrolsthefuelpressuretothe
orice.Theregulatorcontainsbothasedimentbowlwithamanualdraincockandafuellter.
Theoutletofthepressureregulatorleadstoamanifoldonwhichismountedapressuregauge
tomonitorthefuelpressure.Thefuelowsthroughthemanifoldtothefuellinewhichconnects
toaoricemountedonfrontoftheburner.Theoricecontainsajewelwithapreciselydrilled
holetocontrolthefuelowintotheburner.AnSOvalveislocatedbetweenthemanifoldand
fuelline,andtheSIpressureswitchismountedontheSOvalve,seeFigure15.
3.2.2.1 Draining the Sediment Bowl
Thesedimentbowlwillcollectimpuritiesinthefuel.Draintheregulatorasfollows:
1) Shuto󰀨thefuelsupplytotheTEG.
2) OpenthedraincocklocatedontheundersideoftheTEGcabinet.Anyimpuritieswill
drainthroughthecock.
3) Closedraincock.
