A0to1ohm,300Wattvariableresistorlocatedinsidethecabinetmaybeusedtoadjustthe
outputpoweroftheCPinterface.Thisresistormaybeconnectedinseriesorparallelwiththe
TEG.SeeFigure28forseriesconnectionandFigure29forparallelConnections.
5.1.4 Series
Byconnectingthe300WattresistorinserieswiththeTEGthemaximumallowablepowermay
bedeliveredtotheCPload.Thisisachievedbymovingthetaptothebottomoftheresistor.
5.1.5 Parallel
Byconnectingthe300WattresistorinparallelwiththeTEGsmallerlevelsofpowermaybe
deliveredtotheCPload.Thismayberequiredwhenhotspotsoccurontheanode.Withthe
taplocatedatthetopoftheresistortheoutputpowerwillbezero.Asthetapismoveddown,
thepowertotheCPloadisincreased.
